find your RING size

Don’t guess!! I cannot resize any finished rings.

When purchasing a wood ring, I recommend sizing up about a half size. Fingers usually swell and shrink throughout the day. Keep this in mind when sizing your fingers. Taking multiple measurements at different times in order to get the most accurate picture of your normal size. Remember that a thicker ring is going to fit and feel tighter than a thinner ring.

Here are a few different ways you can size your finger:

• Purchase a ring sizer. These are available for about $8 on Amazon or any craft supply store. If you wear or purchase rings regularly, I would recommend getting a ring sizer so that you are able to order the size that will fit your fingers (or a certain finger) best. I only use U.S ring sizes, so keep this in mind when purchasing a ring sizer.

• Download my free printable ring sizer below. This will give you a good idea of your ring size, but keep in mind that it could be inaccurate because of factors such as; user error and/or printing error. It is your responsibility to size your finger properly and this is here as a guide, it is not a guarantee.

• If you're not an avid ring collector and are only interested in buying a couple pieces along the way, I would suggest just stopping by your local jeweler and having your finger measured.

• If you are buying this ring as a surprise gift, here are some sneaky ways to find out their ring size:

  ~ try on a ring they already own to see which finger it fits on you and then size your own finger later.
  ~ borrow a ring they already own and measure it.
  ~ if you are feeling especially sneaky, wrap a string around their finger, then measure the string later.
